Garrick attended UC San Diego for undergrad with a major in Biochemistry to later on complete his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California. After exploring several different sub-specialties within the field of pharmacy, he then owned and operated Fisher's Pharmacy in Southern California. After growing the company for 15 years, CVS Health Corp (NYSE:CVS), acquired the business. Thereafter, he decided to pursue a career in real estate.

Garrick has been an investor in real estate with Mon Ami Real Estate since 2017 and in his current role with the company since early 2022. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two young boys. He likes to play tennis, basketball, and enjoys all outdoor activities.
